Western blot was performed using Anti-GPM6A Polyclonal Antibody, (Product # 720252) and a 30 kDa band corresponding to GPM6A was observed across tissues tested except in Mouse Liver, Mouse Skeletal Muscle, Rat Liver and Rat Skeletal Muscle which are reported to be negative. Tissue extracts (30 µg lysate) of Mouse Brain (Lane 1), Mouse Cerebellum (Lane 2), Rat Brain (Lane 3), and Rat Cerebellum (Lane 4), Mouse Liver (Lane 5), Mouse Skeletal Muscle (Lane 6), Rat Liver (Lane 7), Rat Skeletal Muscle (Lane 8) were electrophoresed using Novex® NuPAGE® 4-12 % Bis-Tris gel (Product # NP0321BOX). Resolved proteins were then transferred onto a nitrocellulose membrane (Product # IB23001) by iBlot® 2 Dry Blotting System (Product # IB21001). The blot was probed with the primary antibody (0.5 µg/mL) and detected by chemiluminescence with Goat anti-Rabbit IgG (Heavy Chain), Superclonal™ Recombinant Secondary Antibody, HRP conjugate (Product # A27036, 1:4,000 dilution) using the iBright FL 1000 (Product # A32752). Chemiluminescent detection was performed using Novex® ECL Chemiluminescent Substrate Reagent Kit (Product # WP20005).
